Supersoaker by Kings of Leon song meaning, lyric interpretation, video and chart position. Speaking to MTV News, drummer Nathan Followill said the Mechanical Bull album title was inspired by John Travolta. He explained: "We were so early in on the process of it, we had narrowed it down to three names, and 'Mechanical Bull' won out. Reply

Supersoaker opens this, the sixth album by Kings of Leon and all that in just ten years. It's a nice try to recover some lost territory, but the hook isn't strong enough. It's followed by Rock City, which might be a better song, but it ends anti-climatically without making a serious impact. The song Don't Matter is pseudo-Queens of the Stone Age. Reply

Which is partly why the band's sixth studio album, 's Mechanical Bull, comes as sweet relief. While still retaining Kings of Leon 's penchant toward bombastic, hooky choruses and driving guitars, Mechanical Bull feels breezier and less labored than Come Around Sundown.7/ Reply
